Consumer info

The Direct Marketing Association (DMA) operates a number of schemes to reduce unsolicited mailings, telephone calls, faxes and e-mails.

Registering with Mailing Preference Service (MPS) will stop most unsolicited consumer direct mail. However, this might not stop mailings from companies with whom you have done business in the past and mailings from small, local companies. If you wish these mailings to be stopped, you must notify these companies directly.

To register your details, please contact the MPS on 020 7291 3310 or > www.mps-online.org.uk

The Telephone Preference Service (TPS) allows you to register your home telephone number not to receive unsolicited sales and marketing calls. To register your details, please contact the TPS on 020 7291 3320 or
> www.tps-online.org.uk

For more detailed information about these and other preference services (Baby MPS, Fax Preference Service and Email Preference Service), please contact the DMA (UK) Ltd for more information:
DMA House, 70 Margaret Street, London, W1W 8SS.
Telephone: 020 7291 3300 or > www.dma.org.uk
